Terrill Williams

Terrill Williams is the founder and owner of Petroleum Education Workshops LLC, a leading educational and training center for the oil and gas industry. He is a well known speaker, instructor, and educator in the oil and gas industry—having a career that has spanned over 30 years where he has worked, in the trenches, both in land and land administration. His unique instruction, resource materials, and training style reach hundreds of land professionals each year.

 

Terrill has authored several books and articles including: Probate, Descent and Distribution, Calculating your Division of Interest, and Becoming a Guardian of your Company’s Assets - Mastering the Oil & Gas Lease, He is currently working on a series of oil and gas related books and articles with other landmen, land administration professionals and oil and gas attorneys.

Patrick W. Fitzgerald

Patrick W. Fitzgerald, Ph.D., Ed.D, J.D., is Senior Partner in the law firm Fitzgerald & Pearsall, P.L.L.C., with offices in several cities in energy rich Oklahoma and Texas. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at Oklahoma Christian University, and at the University of Oklahoma, and a Visiting Scholar at Vanderbilt University. He was formerly on the faculties of The University of Texas at Austin and Oklahoma State University, served as an adjunct professor in the School of Business at Southern Methodist University, in the School of Law at Oklahoma City University where he taught “Oil and Gas Tax,” a special lecturer in the School of Business at the University of Oklahoma where he taught “Oil and Gas Tax” and “the Oil and Gas Lease” and the School of Law at the University of Tulsa where he taught various oil and gas institutes.

 

For years he was a regular lecturer for the Institute for Energy Development and for the Permian Basin Graduate Center in Midland, Texas. He currently teaches a wide range of oil and gas institutes for various organizations including courses such as “Pooling and Unitization in Texas and New Mexico,” “Advanced Land Management,” “Legal Frameworks for the Petroleum Industry,” “Basic Oil and Gas Contracts,” “Fundamental Legal Concepts for the Petroleum Industry,” “Principles of the Oil and Gas Lease,” “Valuing Oil and Gas Assets,” “Basic Oil and Gas Law,” “Petroleum Land Titles,” “Farmouts,” “Joint Operating Agreements,” “Advanced Oil and Gas Contracts” and many others.

 

 

Dr. Fitzgerald has authored or co-authored numerous books and articles with many having been published in leading journals such as The Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy, Ethics & Critical Thinking Quarterly Journal, The Earnings Analyst, Consumer Finance Law Quarterly Report, and the Southern Law Journal. He is currently working on a series of oil and gas related books and articles with Jacque Pearsall and other prominent oil and gas attorneys and landmen.

Jacque Bergman-Pearsall

Jacque Pearsall, SPHR, J.D, is senior partner in the firm of Fitzgerald & Pearsall, P.L.L.C., with offices in energy-oriented Oklahoma and Texas. The firm provides quality legal services combining a wide range of knowledge in oil and gas law, environmental law, business and transactional law, employment law, and general civil litigation.

 

 

 

She is a twenty-year attorney licensed to practice law in Oklahoma, Mississippi and Texas and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.

 

As an instructor and writer she has authored or co-authored numerous articles with many published in leading journals such as Ethics & Critical Thinking Quarterly Journal, and the Southern Law Journal and has served as an adjunct Professor in Oklahoma City University’s Masters of Business Administration Program. Jacque is a frequent speaker, currently teaching a wide range of courses including “Basic Land Management,” “Legal Frameworks for the Petroleum Industry,” “Basic Oil and Gas Contracts;” “Fundamentals for the Petroleum Industry,” and “Principles of the Oil and Gas Lease.”

 

 

 

She is presently co-authoring a series of books and articles with other prominent oil and gas attorneys and landmen.
