Course Description:

Wind leases, option agreements and the many easements used in wind leasing are very different from those used in the oil & gas industry. The sheer length of a wind lease can be overwhelming and intimidating; the compensation packages offered to landowners can be complex; and the number of other agreements associated with leases can be confusing and exhausting. Therefore; this is the perfect training class to learn about: 1. the Option, Lease and Easement agreements; 2. the clauses of the agreements; 3. how to calculate compensation packages offered to the landowner; and 4. how to address the anxieties and concerns of the landowner.
